I wanted to talk about the Crocodile Hunter. You know, it was tragic ... at the time. But people were calling me saying, "Hey! You wouldn't believe who got killed. THE CROCODILE HUNTER!" And they were like, "He was 44 years old." And I'm like "That's a ripe old age for a Crocodile Hunter." And you know who had to be pissed about it? The crocodiles. Because he got killed by some fruity fish. So you know the crocodiles were like, "Hey man! That Crocodile Hunter got killed! "Yeah! Who did it? Frank?" "Nah ... You ... So, as I was sifting through the front pages from around the country the past couple days, I never saw that one great Sept. 11 anniversary page that I was hoping for. Until I pulled up Newsdesigner a few minutes ago. Wow.
Meanwhile, on the Sept. 11 edition of the Countdown, Keith didn't pull any punches.
ORLANDO -- So, we've just about put SND Orlando in the books. The SND International Web Desk has offered buyouts to most of the staffers in the Orlando Bureau so we are prepping a few final updates and clearing out our desks. Like I said, you can see some of my photos over on Flickr if you want. And rest assured, we will soon return to our regularly scheduled broadcast.
